Sweet Miracles

Seems like i’m not really a “natural” when it comes to scrapping. This LO took me literally hours to do. Don’t think that it looks simple to put together. If i had this LO to copy to begin with, perhaps i can do it in less than an hour. The time spent was largely on finding a suitable kit out of the 40+ kits that i have (result of my greed in downloading all the nice freebies out there), then playing ard with the pieces, and cos the free kits are usually quite limited in the elements, i also had to browse all the odds and ends of elements, wordart, etc, to find something that would go with the theme and colours. It’s a pain when nothing in my very huge collection seem to really fit. By the end of completion, i was properly exhausted, frustrated, and almost regretful that i have spent my entire night on this instead of doing other more meaningful stuff like reading or chatting with Mr Gua Gua.

Sigh… maybe next time i shd do it the other way round. Decide on the kit, THEN choose a photo to go with it. Could be easier… or maybe not, since i have like thousands of photos too.

Think the real problem is, i’m a darn perfectionist with a capital letter P!

Anyways, this LO didn’t look that bad tonight, so i’m just gonna post it on my DSP gallery and see if i get any comments. Gonna try scrapping tonight… hopefully inspiration strikes and i can go to bed before midnight.
